Who We Are

Mary Alyce has been involved in personal portfolio management for more than 17 years. Her background includes training in insurance, investments, tax, retirement, and estate planning as well as providing personal financial counseling at a consumer credit counseling organization. Additionally, she has served on the board of trustees for a private non-profit residential retirement facility. Mary Alyce has a BA degree from Grinnell College, Iowa, and an MA in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Mary holds the prestigious designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ CFP® practitioner. This designation is awarded only after completion of a rigorous two-day examination and extensive practical experience. To maintain the license, CFP® practitioners are required to satisfy ongoing educational and ethics requirements.

Mary and her husband Don enjoy camping, fly fishing, gardening, and volunteering within the Colorado Springs community where they have lived since 1971.

They have two grown children and four of the smartest, most charming, handsome, and talented grandsons to be found anywhere.
